Community Involvement

The above quote reflects our views well. We strive to give back to the community in ways that involve not just our pocketbook but our time and energy as well. Below is a partial list of community involvement, contributions, and giving that Kyoshin Ryu Karate Academy or Sensei Phillips, personally, have been involved in over the years.

We encourage giving of yourself in our students as well. We do this through our Good Citizenship Awards where students are recognized for a variety of good deeds.

Business Networking International (BNI) is a world wide networking group formed of local chapters of businesses that try to generate business for each other. The dojo has had several referrals from BNI and continues to be an active member.

If you need a local service or business - insurance, plumbing, carpet cleaning, salon, financial planning, auto repair, etc. - please look at the link below. I know each of these business owners personally and have done direct business with most of them.
