Japanese Karate training also gives young people the strength not only to say “NO” to negative, potentially harmful peer pressure but to also back up their words with deeds. Our young students become the leaders of their peer groups, not compliant followers, fearfully seeking acceptance. Today's world requires such strength from our children.

Class Days and Times

Renshi Chuck Phillips will offer karate again for the third year at LILA. Classes will be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school. While any child may register for karate, enrollment preference will go to the students who took karate the last session.

Advanced Students

Also, this year we will have a separate class for advanced students. These are students who are either Yellow Belt or Blue Belt. They will have class on Wednesday at 3:00.

Classes will run:
January 12 & 13 through May 18 & 19 (No class March 9 & 10) 18 Weeks
Tuesdays: 2:15 - 3:00 or Wednesdays 2:15 - 3:00

Tuition Cost and Other Fees

$335.00 for the session or call to set up monthly tuition of $74 per month.
Gi (uniform): $35.00
Sparring Gear: $135/boys $125/girls (one-time fee for gear)

Tuition may be made by check or credit card and in full or in 5 monthly payments. The gi and sparing gear must be paid for before the beginning of the session.

A check payable to Kyoshin Ryu Karate Academy must be mailed with the application to cover the gi and sparring gear or call the karate school for credit card or set up installment tuition.
